About the Artist

Jennifer Wong is a Chinese-Australian writer, comedian, and presenter of Chopsticks or Fork? (ABC).

She writes a column for The Guardian called Jennifer Wong’s Class Act, which is about trying fitness and wellbeing activities for the first time. Her humorous essays and reporting about food, culture, and mental health have been published by ABC Everyday, ABC News, Monocle, SBS Food, and SBS News.

Jennifer has performed stand-up all over Australia, and in Edinburgh and Shanghai. In 2023, her stand-up show, Jennifer Wong Has No Peripheral Vision, received rave reviews and sold out around the country. She’s a regular guest on ABC Radio Sydney’s Thank God It’s Friday, The Cook Up with Adam Liaw (SBS), and Celebrity Letters and Numbers (SBS).

Her first book, Chopsticks or Fork?, co-written with Lin Jie Kong will be published by Hardie Grant in September 2024.
